Youth Opportunity Fund

The Youth Opportunity Fund is an endowed fund, available to NPYM youth and young adults (ages 12 - 35) to help pay for activities that promote their spiritual growth as Quakers. The fund awards grants of up to $500 three times a year (March, May, and October).

Applications must be postmarked by the due date: Winter applications are due on March 1, with awards made by March 15. Spring applications are due on May 1, with awards made by May 15. Fall applications are due on October 1, with awards made by October 15. The Youth Opportunity Fund is flexible - it is available to fund activities that "foster spiritual growth". Youth have used grants from the Youth Opportunity Fund to attend international gatherings, participate in intergenerational service trips, and create their own traveling ministries.

The Youth Committee manages the Fund. The application form can be downloaded here. This PDF will allow you to fill-in information, then print it or email it directly to the clerk of the Youth Committee.
